Nettailor Extended can add images, animation and both sound and video files to the research. Gaming elements can also be integrated. The results of the game are used as variables and hence as tailoring in the next phase of research.

A standard feature of Nettailor Extended is the possibility to link sound to each component, question item and text balloon. Using this option, an ambient sound or musical clip can be played for each screen or component or spoken text linked to a balloon.

The key characteristic of Nettailor Extended is that every answer, text, choice, image, audio and video, animation and gaming element is measurable and can be presented and combined on the basis of tailoring, which ensures that each individual participant in the study is presented with customised questions, information and perception.
SPSS and Excel
All variable definitions can be downloaded from the Nettailor Admin Center for import into the leading statistics analysis tools such as SPSS and MS-Excel. It is sometimes even possible to download the results in an .XML file or place them directly in your own database.

- NetTailor Extended has 4 different interaction levels (layers) in which images or video can be shown.
- NetTailor Extended client is available in Flash and HTML.

- Video and audio can be used in NetTailor Extended.
- In addition to the standard email functionality, NetTailor Extended offers the possibility of sending an email after X number of days.
- NetTailor Extended contains umbrella blocks and start days that enable the user to determine the day on which a study or a follow-up study starts.
